Youth Orchestra
The 'Singapore Youth Malay Orchestra (SYMO) was formed in March 2004 to extend the primary objectives of Orkestra Melayu Singapura to the younger musicians.
It shares the common goal to reach out to the community specifically to the young and passionate musicians. Singapore Youth Malay Orchestra is a platform for youths to be in touch and kept abreast with arts and culture in Singapore, with Malay music being the primary focus.
Members of the orchestra comprises of youth from secondary school level to University undergraduates.
