Uses

The Oriental riff has been included as part of numerous musical works in Western music. Examples of its use include "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas and Biddu (1974), The Vapors's "Turning Japanese", Rush's "A Passage to Bangkok", David Bowie's "China Girl", and "Che Che Kule" by Osibisa. The riff has also been used in video games and soundtracks.
