Oriental Adventures - Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition

Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition

A number of the monsters from the Oriental Adventures setting, such as the oni, have been included in the Monster Manual. Wizards of the Coast has not announced if Oriental Adventures will be released, or if player classes such as the ninja, samurai, shukenja, sohei, and wu jen will appear in future products. The shaman is in the Player's Handbook 2 as a leader based on the primal power source. The monk appears in Player's Handbook 3.

As of Dragon Issue 404 (October 2011), samurai and sohei have been added as character themes. The ninja is now a build for the assassin class.

Famous quotes containing the word edition:

I knew a gentleman who was so good a manager of his time that he would not even lose that small portion of it which the calls of nature obliged him to pass in the necessary-house, but gradually went through all the Latin poets in those moments. He bought, for example, a common edition of Horace, of which he tore off gradually a couple of pages, read them first, and then sent them down as a sacrifice to Cloacina: this was so much time fairly gained.
Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)
