In 2009, Orange Jordan offered higher ADSL speeds to its Jordanian customer to reach 4 Mbit/s and 8 Mbit/s. However, there has been a public outcry to Orange Jordan to enhance its already offered Internet speeds of 1 Mbit/s and 2 Mbit/s. This public call was caused by customers' accumulating bad experiences with the quality of Internet services which has been blogged about and commentated by huge numbers of viewers. For example, in July 2008, Naseem Tarawnah complained about differences between the actual and advertised speeds in a blog post, and in 2009 he blogged again expressing his dissatisfaction with the service.
Another blogger was dissatisfied with the download cap placed on all of the Orange Internet offered speeds as when the customer reach the download limit, his/her Internet speed will tremendously drop until the next billing cycle. Dissatisfaction with pricing Orange Internet lines was highlighted in another post especially when compared with offers in other countries.
