Kisschasy songwriter Darren Cordeux said in press release track notes, "It is a song about being happy with who you are and not letting other people's opinions of who you are or what you do affect you. Famous quotes containing the words opinions, warm and/or night:

    I have bought
    Golden opinions from all sorts of people.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    The literature of the poor, the feelings of the child, the philosophy of the street, the meaning of household life, are the topics of the time. It is a great stride. It is a sign,—is it not? of new vigor, when the extremities are made active, when currents of warm life run into the hands and the feet.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

    A barnacle goose
    Far up in the stretches of night; night splits and the dawn breaks loose;
    I, through the terrible novelty of light, stalk on, stalk on;
    Those great sea-horses bare their teeth and laugh at the dawn.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
