Opinions Won't Keep You Warm at Night

"Opinions Won't Keep You Warm at Night" is the first single from Kisschasy's second studio album Hymns for the Nonbeliever. It is available on the iTunes Store for digital download and was released on 2 June 2007 on CD. The song peaked at #10 on the Australian ARIA Charts, spending an admirable 20 weeks inside the top 50. It is Kisschasy's most successful song in terms of chart performance.

Kisschasy songwriter Darren Cordeux said in press release track notes, "It is a song about being happy with who you are and not letting other people's opinions of who you are or what you do affect you. At the end of the day what people think doesn't mean anything at all. People thought the world was flat once."

Famous quotes containing the words opinions, warm and/or night:

The more opinions you have, the less you see.
    Wim Wenders (b. 1945)

Libraries are reservoirs of strength, grace and wit, reminders of order, calm and continuity, lakes of mental energy, neither warm nor cold, light nor dark. The pleasure they give is steady, unorgastic, reliable, deep and long-lasting. In any library in the world, I am at home, unselfconscious, still and absorbed.
    Germaine Greer (b. 1939)

Last night I watched my brothers play,
The gentle and the reckless one,
In a field two yards away.
For half a century they were gone
Beyond the other side of care
To be among the peaceful dead.
    Edwin Muir (1887–1959)
