Community
The OpenMRS community includes developers, implementers, and users from multiple countries who collaborate through mailing lists, IRC, and annual conferences. OpenMRS has participated in Google Summer of Code in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012; according to that program's manager, it receives more student applications than the Apache Software Foundation.
