Only Connect is a quiz show programme first shown on BBC Four on 15 September 2008, presented by Victoria Coren Mitchell. In the series, teams compete in a tournament of finding connections between seemingly unrelated clues. Radio Times's listings usually describe it as "a game of patience and lateral thinking".
The phrase "Only connect" was originally used as the epigraph to E. M. Forster's 1910 novel Howards End.
Famous quotes containing the word connect:
“Until, accustomed to disappointments, you can let yourself rule and be ruled by these strings or emanations that connect everything together, you havent fully exorcised the demon of doubt that sets you in motion like a rocking horse that cannot stop rocking.”
—John Ashbery (b. 1927)
