One World (Uniting Nations Album)

One World is the 2005 debut and only studio album by UK based dance group Uniting Nations.

Prior to the release of the album on November 14, 2005, Uniting Nations had seen chart success with two consecutive singles, the debut "Out of Touch" a (Hall & Oates) and the follow-up "You and Me" that both included the vocals of Jinian Wilde and reached respectively #7 and #15 on the UK charts.

The third single taken off the album, "Ai No Corrida", that came with the release of the album itself, featured the vocal talents of Laura More (of Eric Prydz, "Call On Me" fame) and peaked at #18 in the charts.

Famous quotes containing the words world and/or nations:

To the United States the Third World often takes the form of a black woman who has been made pregnant in a moment of passion and who shows up one day in the reception room on the forty-ninth floor threatening to make a scene. The lawyers pay the woman off; sometimes uniformed guards accompany her to the elevators.
    Lewis H. Lapham (b. 1935)

Poor nations are hungry, and rich nations are proud; and pride and hunger will ever be at variance.
    Jonathan Swift (1667–1745)
