Old Swansea Central Library
The old Swansea Central Library in Swansea in Britain was a public lending and reference library located in Alexandra Road, in the Swansea city centre. The old library building is now occupied by Swansea Metropolitan University's Welsh School of Architectural Glass.
Famous quotes containing the words central and/or library:
“Its easy to forget how central the French people are in everything we mean when we say Europe.”
—John Dos Passos (18961970)
“That a famous library has been cursed by a woman is a matter of complete indifference to a famous library. Venerable and calm, with all its treasures safe locked within its breast, it sleeps complacently and will, so far as I am concerned, so sleep forever. Never will I wake these echoes, never will I ask for that hospitality again ...”
—Virginia Woolf (18821941)
