The Old Hyannis Train Station was located at 477 Yarmouth Road in Hyannis, Massachusetts. In 1953 the New Haven Railroad converted the structure, which was once used as a freight house, into a passenger station. The station was closed in 1964, when the New Haven Railroad discontinued passenger service on Cape Cod.
The station building today houses a restaurant that operates under the name Harry's at the Depot.

Famous quotes containing the words train and/or station:
“The landscape of the northern Sprawl woke confused memories of childhood for Case, dead grass tufting the cracks in a canted slab of freeway concrete. The train began to decelerate ten kilometers from the airport. Case watched the sun rise on the landscape of childhood, on broken slag and the rusting shells of refineries.”
—William Gibson (b. 1948)
“With boys you always know where you stand. Right in the path of a hurricane. Its all there. The fruit flies hovering over their waste can, the hamster trying to escape to cleaner air, the bedrooms decorated in Early Bus Station Restroom.”
—Erma Bombeck (20th century)
