Style
For Man Talk, Woman Talk, directorial approach must have fluidity which will allow for creativity of the actors. The technicalities of the stage should be carefully applied in such a way that they will kill expected boredom associated with court scenes for if not done, the whole dramatic in the act will be flattened out. It might do the play a favor if it is given the kind of approach Ola Rotimi himself used in the directing of the premiere of the play. It is the technique that allows a kind of participatory interaction; the one that accommodates the audience contribution.

“The authoritarian child-rearing style so often found in working-class families stems in part from the fact that parents see around them so many young people whose lives are touched by the pain and delinquency that so often accompanies a life of poverty. Therefore, these parents live in fear for their childrens futurefear that theyll lose control, that the children will wind up on the streets or, worse yet, in jail.”

“Everything ponderous, viscous, and solemnly clumsy, all long- winded and boring types of style are developed in profuse variety among Germansforgive me the fact that even Goethes prose, in its mixture of stiffness and elegance, is no exception, being a reflection of the good old time to which it belongs, and a reflection of German taste at a time when there still was a German tasteMa rococo taste in moribus et artibus.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (18441900)
