Oklahoma Road Middle School is located on 6300 Oklahoma Road in Eldersburg or Sykesville, Maryland. The school opened in 1997. The school was named after the road on which it is located. The school district borders West Middle School and Sykesville Middle School. Oklahoma Middle School is fed by Carrolltowne Elementary School, Eldersburg Elementary, and Freedom Elementary. ORMS is the sole feeder school for Liberty High School, and most students attending Oklahoma Middle School go on to Liberty High School. ORMS was made a Blue Ribbon School in 2010 for Maryland, one of only 2 middle schools selected. In September 2011, ORMS was also named a National Blue Ribbon school.
