The Odessa Soviet Republic (OSR; Ukrainian: Одеська Радянська Республіка; Russian: Одесская Советская Республика) was a short-lived Soviet republic formed on January 31 1918 from parts of the Kherson and Bessarabia Governorates of the former Russian Empire.
