The Oceanport School District is a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Oceanport, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The district also includes students from Sea Bright, who attend as part of a sending/receiving relationship.

For grades 9 - 12, public school students attend Shore Regional High School, a regional high school that serves students from the constituent districts of Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, Oceanport and West Long Branch. The high school is part of the Shore Regional High School District.

Famous quotes containing the words school and/or district:

School divides life into two segments, which are increasingly of comparable length. As much as anything else, schooling implies custodial care for persons who are declared undesirable elsewhere by the simple fact that a school has been built to serve them.
    Ivan Illich (b. 1926)

Most works of art, like most wines, ought to be consumed in the district of their fabrication.
    Rebecca West (1892–1983)
