Ocean Colour Scene (album)
Ocean Colour Scene is the eponymous 1992 début album by the British rock group Ocean Colour Scene. It was released during the early Britpop era with far less critical interest than their highly successful second album Moseley Shoals. Ocean Colour Scene themselves largely ignore this album, feeling that the band and label's conflicting musical views led to a 'watered-down' début which lacked the edge of the band's live popularity. The first single from the album was "Sway" in February 1992, followed by "Giving it All Away" in March and finally "Do Yourself a Favour" in May.

Famous quotes containing the words ocean, colour and/or scene:
“If fishes were wishes the ocean would be all of our desire.”
—Gertrude Stein (18741946)
“I allow a Beauty to be as much to be commended for the Elegance of her Dress, as a Wit for that of his Language; yet if she has stolen the Colour of her Ribbands from another, or had Advice about her Trimmings, I shall not allow her the Praise of Dress, any more than I would call a Plagiary an Author.”
—Richard Steele (16721729)
“The scene of suffering is a scene of joy when the suffering is past; and the silent reminiscence of hardships departed, is sweeter than the presence of delight.”
—Herman Melville (18191891)
