Observational Comedy is a style of humor based on making remarks about commonplace aspects of everyday life. It is the most common type of humor used in stand up comedy, although it is present in other mediums, such as films and TV shows.
The humor is based on the premise of "It's funny because it's true."
Famous quotes containing the word comedy:
“The actors today really need the whip hand. They’re so lazy. They haven’t got the sense of pride in their profession that the less socially elevated musical comedy and music hall people or acrobats have. The theater has never been any good since the actors became gentlemen.”
