Appointment As Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff
Nuruddin Khan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army by then President HM Erhad in November 1990.
He was promoted to being the Chief of Army Staff by the request of Atroshi Pir, a cult, to President Ershad in 1989.
