Nottingham Express Transit

Nottingham Express Transit (NET) is a light-rail tramway in the Nottingham area in England. The first line opened to the public on 9 March 2004, having cost £200 million (equivalent to £229 million at 2012 prices) to construct. The scheme took 16 years from conception to implementation. It is operated by Tramlink Nottingham, a consortium made up of Meridiam Infrastructure, OFI InfraVia, Alstom Transport, Keolis, VINCI Investments and Wellglade Group. Previously it was operated by Arrow Light Rail, from 9 March 2004 until the 16 December 2011.
