Big Orange Pride (BOP)
The Big Orange Pride or BOP is Northrop High School's Marching Band. They currently compete as an ISSMA Class A school. They are a 27 time ISSMA Class A State Finalist, a Bands of America finalist 6 times and a 1983 ISSMA Class A State Champion. Marching Band meets for most of the summer and daily during the Fall. They also rehearse and compete on Saturdays, and perform during home football games. The BOP also has a great color guard that perform with the band. They do choreography and use props that mingle with the band's marching from set to set. The group is open to all students.
