The Northern Ireland Office (NIO; Irish: Oifig Thuaisceart Éireann, Ulster-Scots: Norlin Airlann Oaffis) is a British government department responsible for Northern Irish affairs. The NIO is led by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and is based at Stormont House.
