- During peak hours, there are additional northbound services from Marina Bay to Yishun.
- Additional special event services operate between Marina Bay and either Yishun or Ang Mo Kio.
- Lunchtime Xpress services operate between Ang Mo Kio and Marina Bay on weekdays (excluding public holidays) between noon and 2 pm.
- 5 cross-line services from Ang Mo Kio towards Pasir Ris via Jurong East in the morning peak hours removed since 27 December 2011 to enhance eastbound train service on the East West Line.
- Short Working Trip (SWT) service between Jurong East and Marsiling during weekday evening peak hours removed from 18 May 2012 onwards.
- The last two trips after Jurong East will go to Ang Mo Kio before the official last train to Kranji .
