Noerine Kaleeba is a Ugandan physiotherapist and educator. She is the co-founder of the Aids activism group "The AIDS Support Organization" (TASO). She is currently a programme development adviser for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
