Stingray Timmins, played by Ben Nicholas, made his first on-screen appearance on 11 March 2004. Stingray is the youngest son of Janelle (Nell Feeney) and Kim Timmins (Brett Swain). Nicholas successfully auditioned for the role of Stingray and began filming his scenes three days after getting the call to say he had won the part. Of joining the soap, Nicholas said "It's a dream come true".
