Nice Ideas

Nice Ideas was a video game company based in France.

Originally a part of Mattel Electronics, they were sold to an unknown company after the video game crash of 1983. Mattel was not allowed to shut down Nice Ideas like the rest of Mattel Electronics due to French law. It is believed Nice Ideas continued making new, unreleased games such as Pizzatime and Masters of the Universe during this time.

At the time of the shutdown, Mattel Electronics sold the rights to Illusions, BurgerTime, and Bump 'n' Jump to Coleco.

Famous quotes containing the words nice and/or ideas:

Tiffany’s Salesman: Do they still really have prizes in Crackerjack boxes?
    Paul: Oh, yes.
Tiffany’s Salesman: That’s nice to know. Gives one a feeling of solidarity, almost of continuity into the past, that sort of thing.
    George Axelrod (b. 1922)

The settlement of America had its origins in the unsettlement of Europe. America came into existence when the European was already so distant from the ancient ideas and ways of his birthplace that the whole span of the Atlantic did not widen the gulf.
    Lewis Mumford (1895–1990)
