Ni Min-jan (Chinese: 倪敏然; pinyin: Ní Mǐnrán; 30 April 1946—April 2005) was a popular Taiwanese comedian and actor. His alleged affair with Xia Yi was the apparent cause of his suicide in April 2005, and after many newspapers and news channels reported the suicide with great coverage, the suicide rate grew higher. Ni Min-jan was friends with Chang Fei and Frankie Kao.
