- New Mexican Spanish has seseo (/c/ before /e/ & /i/ and /z/ are pronounced ). That is, casa ("house") and caza ("hunt") are is homophones. Seseo is prevalent to all of Hispanic America, the Canary Islands, and southern Spain.
