New Bridge Landing (NJT Station) - Parking

Parking

Permit parking is operated by the Borough of River Edge. New Bridge Landing Station parking lot permits are issued on a lottery system basis only. Forms are available at the Borough's website or at the Police Department desk at Borough Hall. If your application is drawn at the lottery, a permit decal will be mailed to you. If your application is NOT drawn at the lottery, your check will be returned to you with a blank application form for your use at the next drawing. Effective 2007, the fees are $117.70 for a quarterly permit or $331 for a yearly permit (all fees include 7% New Jersey sales tax).

A total of 21 daily parking spaces are available at the North Hackensack Train Station parking lot and are located on the perimeter of the lot at a cost of $4.00 per day as of 2008. Another 20 spaces are available on Elizabeth Street. These spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis, are limited and tend to fill up quickly.

In anticipation of increased ridership from bi-directional operation, an additional 143 parking spaces were added on August 13, 2008, bringing the total number of spaces to 291.
