Neurosis & Jarboe
Neurosis & Jarboe was a collaboration effort between the post-metal/sludge metal group Neurosis, and the former Swans keyboardist/vocalist Jarboe. They released their self-titled debut album in 2003 on Neurot Recordings. The album's artwork was designed by Jarboe-collaborator Cedric Victor. There are currently no plans for a follow-up album.
The collaboration was fully realized in several live performances throughout 2004 and 2005. During Neurosis' two hour set, Jarboe joined the band to perform four songs from their collaborative album in addition to a cover of Patti Smith's song "Easter." The band performed in various US cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia, in addition to a European show in London.

Famous quotes containing the word neurosis:
“Doubt is to certainty as neurosis is to psychosis. The neurotic is in doubt and has fears about persons and things; the psychotic has convictions and makes claims about them. In short, the neurotic has problems, the psychotic has solutions.”
