Nepenthes Macrophylla

Nepenthes macrophylla ( /nɨˈpɛnθiːz ˌmækrɵˈfɪlə/), the Large-Leaved Pitcher-Plant, is a tropical pitcher plant known only from a very restrictive elevation on Mount Trus Madi in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. The specific epithet macrophylla is formed from the Latin words macro (large) and phylla (leaves).

Nepenthes macrophylla was once thought to be a subspecies of N. edwardsiana, but differs from that species in several aspects of pitcher and leaf morphology.
