The Queen of Faeries and Ruler of Faerieland, Fyroa is beautiful, wise, and pure. It is to her Roberta and Seradar go for advice in concern of the kingdom Meridell, but she is captured by the Darkest Faerie. Thanks to Jerdana's Orb, given to her by the sorceress Jerdana, and with the use of her wand, she stopped the Dark one's advance, turned her to stone and imprisoned her at the bottom of the Maraquan Sea. Famous quotes containing the word characters:

There are characters which are continually creating collisions and nodes for themselves in dramas which nobody is prepared to act with them. Their susceptibilities will clash against objects that remain innocently quiet.
George Eliot [Mary Ann (or Marian)

Socialist writers are made of sterner stuff than those who only let their characters steeplechase through trouble in order to come out first in the happy ending of moral uplift.
    Christina Stead (1902–1983)

A criminal trial is like a Russian novel: it starts with exasperating slowness as the characters are introduced to a jury, then there are complications in the form of minor witnesses, the protagonist finally appears and contradictions arise to produce drama, and finally as both jury and spectators grow weary and confused the pace quickens, reaching its climax in passionate final argument.
    Clifford Irving (b. 1930)
