Early Life
Neil Buchanan was born in Aintree, Merseyside (originally Lancashire). He enrolled at Liverpool Art College but was turned down.
He attended Liverpool Institute High School, now the Paul McCartney-sponsored Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
