Common species of fish include Nile Perch (Lates Niloticus) and Tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus). Local rivers in the district, such as the Nyagak and Namrwodho Rivers, also afford fishing opportunities to those far removed from Lake Albert and the Nile River.
