Passport Books
Passport books, sold by Eastern National, provide a place for park visitors to collect National Park cancellation stamps. Over 1,300,000 Passport books have been sold. The 3.25" x 5.5" passport book provides five pages for each of the nine regions where the passport user can place ink stamp cancellations and can affix one featured stamp per page. A featured stamp collector's passport would therefore be filled after five years of use as long as the featured stamps were added to the book each year. In 2006, for the program's 20th anniversary, the "Passport Explorer" was released, featuring a binder and larger pages. Due to its binder format, the Passport Explorer allows the user to easily add extra pages for additional cancellation stamps and featured stamps.

Famous quotes containing the words passport and/or books:
“Whenever [Leonard Bernstein] entered or exited a country he would fill in on his passport form not composer or conductor, but musician. Of course people in the press spent a lot of Lennys life telling him what he should have done; he should have been a concert pianist, he should have composed more.... And people wouldnt let him live his own life. But he created his own career, in his own image.”
—John Mauceri (b. 1945)
“If to take up books were to take them in, and if to see them were to consider them, and to run through them were to grasp them, I should be wrong to make myself out quite as ignorant as I say I am.”
—Michel de Montaigne (15331592)
