Premises
The National Observatory of Athens operates in four locations:
- The Central Premises
The central premises of the National Observatory of Athens are situated on top of Lofos Nymphon (Nymphs' Hill) at Thissio. Nymphs' Hill borders with Philopapou Hill and is opposite to the Acropolis and the Athenian Agora.
- Penteli's Astronomical Station
Penteli's Astronomical Station is situated on 'Lofos Koufou' at 'Palaia Penteli'
- Kryoneri Astronomical Station The Astronomical Station Kryoneri was established in 1972. It is located in Northern Peloponnese, on the top of mountain Kilini (37°58′N 22°37′E / 37.967°N 22.617°E / 37.967; 22.617) at an altitude of 930 m and operates an 1.2m telescope equiped with a CCD camera.
- Helmos Observatory 37°59′00″N 22°13′00″E / 37.983333°N 22.216667°E / 37.983333; 22.216667, housing a 2.3 m refractor telescope "Aristarchos".
