The institute is located on Manandwadi Road, Mysore.

• The NIE Quadrangle houses the administrative offices, libraries, a gymnasium, department offices, laboratories, bank, Centre for Appropriate Rural Technology, workshops and a High Voltage Laboratory.

• The Golden Jubilee Complex, operational since 2000, located in a lush green campus, houses the Golden Jubilee building, a canteen and a playground area.

• The Golden Jubilee Complex had a new addition of an international standard sports complex which houses badminton courts, table tennis rooms, etc.
