National Anthem Of Yemen
"United Republic" (Arabic: نشيد اليمن الوطني, Nashīd al-Yaman al-waṭanī) is the national anthem of Yemen. Written by Abdallah "al-Fadhool" Abdulwahab Noman and composed by Ayoob Tarish, it was formerly the anthem of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen (South Yemen) and became the anthem of all of Yemen when the two Yemens merged in 1990.

Famous quotes containing the word national:
“Maybe it’s understandable what a history of failures America’s foreign policy has been. We are, after all, a country full of people who came to America to get away from foreigners. Any prolonged examination of the U.S. government reveals foreign policy to be America’s miniature schnauzer—a noisy but small and useless part of the national household.”
