Life and Career
Corddry was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He is the son of Robin (née Sullivan) and Steven Corddry, who was a Massachusetts Port Authority official. After graduating from Weymouth High School in 1995, Corddry went to Colby-Sawyer College where he majored in Communications.
Corddry's older brother, Rob Corddry had worked as a well-known correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart since 2002. On October 4, 2005, Nate joined the show as a correspondent. Nate and Rob appeared together in various pieces on the show, including a segment called "Brother vs. Brother" on February 21, 2006. In the "Brother vs. Brother" segment they formally debated each other on the issue of Big Brother, but their debate quickly turned into immature namecalling and trying to beat each other up, until it was stopped by host Jon Stewart. Both Corddry brothers left the program in mid-2006.
Corddry has appeared on television programs such as 30 Rock, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Guiding Light. In 2005, Corddry appeared in a television commercial for Radio Shack. He has also done commercial work for Coors Brewing Company, Verizon Communications, Xbox, Dunkin' Donuts, and NYCremembers.org. Corddry trained at the Williamstown Theater Festival, and recently spent almost a year traveling on the road as an actor in the Broadway touring production of The Graduate.
In 2006, Corddry was cast in the Aaron Sorkin comedy-drama series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which began airing in September 2006 and was canceled in May 2007. The show was a weekly drama that stimulated and entertained viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at a fictitious Saturday Night Live-esque television program called Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Corddry played a character named Tom Jeter who was a writer and performer for the show-within-a-show.
Corddry played the recurring role of Gene Stuart on the Showtime series The United States of Tara. He played "The Chief of Staff" in the live-action film version of Yogi Bear, released 17 December 2010. He co-starred in the legal comedy-drama series Harry's Law which was cancelled after its second season.
Corddry has been cast as the voice actor for "Zed" in the new Disney XD show, Tron: Uprising, which began airing in May, 2012.

Famous quotes containing the words life and, life and/or career:
“I declare
Two lineages electrify the air,
That will like pennons from a mast
Fly over sleep and life and death
Till sun is powerless to decoy
A single seed above the earth:
Lineage of sorrow: lineage of joy....”
—Philip Larkin (19221986)
“Weve only just begun to learn about the water and its secrets, just as weve only touched on outer space. We dont entirely rule out the possibility that there might be some form of life on another planet. Then why not some entirely different form of life in a world we already know is inhabited by millions of living creatures?”
—Harry Essex (b. 1910)
“Each of the professions means a prejudice. The necessity for a career forces every one to take sides. We live in the age of the overworked, and the under-educated; the age in which people are so industrious that they become absolutely stupid.”
—Oscar Wilde (18541900)
