Nasi (month)
Nasīʾ (Arabic: النسيء; lit. "postponement") is a concept mentioned by the Qur'an and linked to the four forbidden months. In pre-Islamic Arabia, the decision of postponement was administered by the tribe of Kinanah, by a man known as the al-Qalammas (pl. qalāmisa). Different interpretations of its meaning have been proposed.
