Nagamachi Station

Nagamachi Station (長町駅, Nagamachi eki?) is a station on the Sendai Subway Nanboku Line, and on JR East's Jōban Line and Tōhoku Main Line in Taihaku-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The subway and JR lines are not directly connected, however, the distance between the two stations is only around two hundred metres. In 1999 a significant area of the stationfront precinct was redeveloped for commercial and transport enhancement. Construction was undertaken by Japanese general construction contractor Nakano Corporation.

Famous quotes containing the word station:

With boys you always know where you stand. Right in the path of a hurricane. It’s all there. The fruit flies hovering over their waste can, the hamster trying to escape to cleaner air, the bedrooms decorated in Early Bus Station Restroom.
    Erma Bombeck (20th century)
