Jr. NTR married Narne Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of Narne Srinivasa Rao, the owner of the Telugu news channel Studio N and a relative of Jr. NTR's uncle, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu on 5 May 2011 at Hitex Exhibition Center, Madhapur, Hyderabad. It was an arranged marriage.
