MYOB and Cloud Technology
MYOB now has a suite of cloud computing-powered solutions, including both software as a service and software plus services products.
On 11 August 2010, MYOB released LiveAccounts, a simple browser-based accounting solution for start-up companies and the smaller end of the SME sector.
On 24 October 2012, MYOB released AccountRight Live, an Australian-first and the biggest launch in the company's history (AccountRight already had 800,000 clients). The cloud-enabled desktop solution enables users to seamlessly switch between working on their accounts in the cloud and on the desktop, and is suitable for small to medium businesses. AccountRight Live sits on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
The afore-mentioned MYOB Atlas solution, a simple website builder for SMEs, is the third cloud solution in the MYOB Live suite.
