Murray Davidson - International Career

International Career

Davidson won his first Scotland U21 cap on 10 August 2010 in a 1–1 draw with Sweden in the UEFA Under 21's European Championship qualifiers. This came at the third time of asking after being previously called up, but having to withdraw through injury. On 15 November 2010, Davidson was called up by Scotland manager Craig Levein to the full squad for the first time, to face the Faroe Islands in a friendly on 16 November 2010 at Pittodrie, Aberdeen. He was again included in the full Scotland squad to face Brazil at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium but did not make an appearance. His latest call up has come under caretaker manager Billy Stark.

Famous quotes containing the word career:

Whether lawyer, politician or executive, the American who knows what’s good for his career seeks an institutional rather than an individual identity. He becomes the man from NBC or IBM. The institutional imprint furnishes him with pension, meaning, proofs of existence. A man without a company name is a man without a country.
    Lewis H. Lapham (b. 1935)
