Online Activity
After several days of speculation following her disappearance, it was revealed that Emily Sander was an Internet pornography model under the pseudonym Zoey Zane. Friends of Sander said that she was recruited for an internet pornography site during the summer of 2007, shortly after her 18th birthday. She apparently kept her career mostly to herself, and only close friends knew about her pornography career, which was in addition to her work as a secretary. According to Sander's grandmother, Shirley Sander, her family knew nothing of her pornography site and did not believe the reports. Following reports of her modeling, the case drew international attention.
Investigators said they do not believe that Sander's involvement in porn was connected with her disappearance.

Famous quotes containing the word activity:
“The animal is one with its life activity. It does not distinguish the activity from itself. It is its activity. But man makes his life activity itself an object of his will and consciousness. He has a conscious life activity. It is not a determination with which he is completely identified.”
—Karl Marx (1818–1883)
