MOZART Development
MOZART sources can be compiled for a variety of computing platforms. Three versions of MOZART are currently available (contact the development team):
- MOZART2, the troposphere-only version published in Horowitz et al. (2003).
- MOZART3 extends MOZART2 into the stratosphere and mesosphere.
- MOZART4 improves MOZART2's
- chemical mechanisms
- photolysis scheme
- dry deposition mechanism
- biogenic emissions
- handling of tropospheric aerosols.

Famous quotes containing the words mozart and/or development:
“Mozart has the classic purity of light and the blue ocean; Beethoven the romantic grandeur which belongs to the storms of air and sea, and while the soul of Mozart seems to dwell on the ethereal peaks of Olympus, that of Beethoven climbs shuddering the storm-beaten sides of a Sinai. Blessed be they both! Each represents a moment of the ideal life, each does us good. Our love is due to both.”
—Henri-Frédéric Amiel (18211881)
“This was the Eastham famous of late years for its camp- meetings, held in a grove near by, to which thousands flock from all parts of the Bay. We conjectured that the reason for the perhaps unusual, if not unhealthful development of the religious sentiment here, was the fact that a large portion of the population are women whose husbands and sons are either abroad on the sea, or else drowned, and there is nobody but they and the ministers left behind.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
