Motion Picture Rating System - Philippines

In the Philippines, motion pictures are rated by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, a special agency of the Office of the President. Television programmes are also rated (see the article).

There are six different ratings that the board utilizes. These are:

Level Rating Description
Unrestricted G For general audience. / All ages admitted.
PG-13 Children below 13 years of age will only be allowed if accompanied by an adult.
Restricted R-13 Strictly for 13 years of age and up.
R-16 Strictly for 16 years of age and up.
R-18 Strictly for 18 years of age and up.
X Not for public viewing.
