Economy
Mongkol Borey is one of the largest agricultural district in Banteay Meanchey province. Agriculture is the most important section in Mongkol Borey. Most of the people there work as farmers, when they finish their harvesting, many people make more profits by growing vegetable, bean or corn etc. They also export their rice to many ASEAN countries such as Thailand and Vietnam . Some people make their business at the market, some are the government officials and some work as carpenters, electricians,etc for their everyday life.
