On Saturday, August 11, 2012, Bluefield College hosted its first media day as football team. Bluefield College Rams football was resurrected in 2011 after a 71-year old defunct span. Bluefield Rams will inaugurate their 2012 season at Mitchell Stadium against the University of Pikeville.
