Mission Control (OS X)

Mission Control, formerly Exposé is a feature of the OS X operating system. First previewed on 23 June 2003 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference as a feature of the then forthcoming Mac OS X v10.3, Exposé allows a user to quickly locate an open window, or to hide all windows and show the desktop without the need to click through many windows to find a specific target. Exposé was replaced in OS X 10.7 by Mission Control.

Famous quotes containing the words mission and/or control:

The mission of the United States is one of benevolent assimilation.
    William McKinley (1843–1901)

There has been something crude and heartless and unfeeling in our haste to succeed and be great. Our thought has been “Let every man look out for himself, let every generation look out for itself,” while we reared giant machinery which made it impossible that any but those who stood at the levers of control should have any chance to look out for themselves.
    Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)
