MIU Support Program For International Students

Welcome Service: International students are picked up at the airport and are informed of their accommodation arrangements.

Orientation Program: The program aims at introducing them to life in Egypt generally and life at MIU specifically. This takes place throughout the first few days upon arrival by giving the students a tour.

Social Activities: The International Office organizes several events per semester to ensure an active social life for its international students. For example, students are invited to attend the Welcome Party made for freshman students, end of the year party. Students are also invited to participate in the International Day where they represent their country in a one day festival, representing their costumes, food, and culture in a booth designed for them.

Language Program: Interested foreign students who would like to learn the language not only from the books and classes are invited to take part in this program. Foreign students teach their language to MIU students and MIU students in turn teach them the Arabic language.

Amigo Program: Each foreign student has an assigned counter MIU student who takes care of him/her during his/her stay in case of any arising problems and if needed counseling.

He believes without reservation that Kentucky is the garden spot of the world, and is ready to dispute with anyone who questions his claim. It is, all in all, a historic error to believe that the master makes the school; the students make it!
