Mio TV (was formerly known as SingTel IPTV) is a 24-hour Pay TV service, introduced by SingTel. It is transmitted through the company's SingNet broadband network via an IPTV Platform and uses Microsoft Mediaroom as its end to end software platform. It is a service that allow multimedia content - including linear channels and on-demand content - to be viewed on any television set. The internet protocol television service utilises IP set-top boxes (STBs), connected over SingTel exStream optical fibers and existing SingTel telephone lines in homes. This mio TV IPTV network has signed over 350 000 Subscribers. Mio TV, standing for "mORE iN oNE" is SingTel's integrated gateway for home users upon which the company is delivering multiple IP based communication services.
